Units in the container divided by units per dose gives the number of doses. Divided by doses a day gives the days. A bottle of 60 capsules at one a day lasts 60 days; at two a day, 30. A 1 kg tub of protein at a 30 g scoop is 33 scoops.
Powders and scoops
A scoop is a container, not a measurement. The one in a protein tub is often 30 g, the one in a creatine tub 5 g, but they vary by brand. The label says how much the scoop holds. Count in grams if you want the date to be right.
Bottles that were already open
Almost nobody adds a bottle the day they open it. Instead of counting capsules, look at the bottle and pick unopened, three quarters, half or a quarter. It is what Supli asks when you add one.
